About Phrae

An ancient city of Lanna, Phrae does not only have plentiful natural attractions to offer but also long fascinating civilization and cultural heritage. This is another province you can visit anytime of the year.

The province consists of eight Amphoes, which are Mueang Phrae, Rong Kwang, Long, Sung Men, Den Chai, Song, Wang Chin, and Nong Muang Khai.

How to go

Bangkok – Phrae and Bangkok – Phrae – Song buses, both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned, are offered at the Mo Chit Bus Terminal (Northeastern Line) every day.

Online ticket booking is also available on www.busticket.in.th, www.thaiticketmajor.com, and www.thairoute.com.

Trains pass Phrae Province at Amphoe Den Chai, which is 20 kilometer away from the city. There are also trains from Amphoe Den Chai to other provinces and vice versa.

There is a Bangkok – Phrae flight by Nok Air from Don Mueang Airport at 10.30 am and a Phrae – Bangkok flight at 12.15 pm every day. The flight takes one hour and 20 minutes. For more information, call 1318 or visit http://www.nokair.com.  


Phae Mueang Phi

About 12 kilometres out of town, and with a further 6 kilometres after a right turn, is the Phae Muang Phi, a wide area with no large trees.
